Halloween On Mission - October 20-31
Halloween is right around the corner, and it’s an incredible time for you to live on mission in your neighborhood. From neighborhood pumpkin carvings, to reverse trick-or-treating, to making your house the best stop in the neighborhood on Halloween night, and more - there are tons of ways for you to engage your neighborhoods this Halloween. Let us know how you’re going to live on mission this Halloween! Visit onelifeknox.com/halloween.
OneLife Students, United Night - October 30th
Next Wednesday night, October 30th, our middle & high school students from both campuses will be coming together for a spooky United Night. There will be games, a costume contest, student led worship, and a great message from our Student Director Matt. It will take place at the East Campus at 6:30pm and we will wrap up at 8:15pm. Also, parents are invited to attend as well! For more information mark the OneLife Students box on the Connection Card.
OneLife’s Angel Trees
The Christmas season is approaching, and it’s the perfect time for us to give back to those less fortunate. This year OneLife is continuing our partnership with the McNabb Center’s Angel Tree program as well as providing angel tree gifts for children on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. The Angel Trees will be up next Sunday, November the 3rd!
Baptism
If you’ve given your life to Jesus but haven’t gone public with your story through baptism then it’s time to take that step! Mark the baptism box on your Connection Card and we’ll help you get started.

Bottom Line: Less is more.
Ecclesiastes 4:4 NIV
4 And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is
1. My appetite is never satisfied.
Ecclesiastes 4:5 NIV
5 Fools fold their hands and ruin themselves.
2. Less does not mean lazy.
Ecclesiastes 4:6 NIV
6 Better one handful with tranquillitythan two handfuls with toiland chasing after the wind.
3. More of what matters = less of what doesn't matter.
Ecclesiastes 4:7-8 NIV
7 Again I saw something meaningless under the sun: 8 There was a man all alone;he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth.“For whom am I toiling,” he asked,“and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?”This too is meaningless—a miserable business!
4. Recognize the real cost of more.

MULTIPLICATION
Share spiritual/missional conversations you've had where you live, work, and play:
- Who did you have a conversation with that took a spiritual/missional turn this week?
- What questions did you ask to discover where God is at work in their life, even if they are not aware?
- How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
- How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
- Who in your life do you think could be disciple-able or open to spiritual/missional conversations?
