Volunteering
Easter is coming and we can’t wait to welcome many guests and first timers who will visit that day. But we can’t do it alone. We need everyone to make this a great day! We have some special things brewing to make it unlike any Easter we’ve ever had before. Save the date for that Sunday, April 20 and more importantly, be thinking and praying about who the one person you are going to invite to come experience Jesus with you!

START TALKING:
This morning, we talked about how our mission is to multiply—that God has called us to make our faith personal, to share Jesus with others, and to trust Him through the obstacles. We looked at how the four friends in Luke 5 didn’t stop at the crowd or the roof—they got their friend to Jesus.
What is one time in your life that someone “carried” you spiritually? Who in your life are you sharing your story/ being missional with?
START THINKING:
Read Luke 5:17-19
What stands out to you about the friends in this story? What did they believe about Jesus that made them push through every obstacle?
Read Ecclesiastes 11:4-6
Why do we often wait for the “perfect moment” to share Jesus with someone? What might happen if we stopped waiting and just moved forward in faith?
START SHARING:
Read Matthew 18:12-13
Jesus left the 99 to find the one.
Who is your “one”? What makes it personal for you? Why do you think Jesus wanted to make this point so clear?
Read Luke 5:20-23
The friends expected healing, but Jesus gave forgiveness first. Have you ever come to Jesus expecting one thing and received something else? How did that experience grow your faith?
Read 2 Corinthians 3:18
God is transforming us into His image.What are some ways you’ve seen God working in your life—even when it felt slow or subtle? What are the “tools” (prayer, people, Scripture, etc.) He’s used?
Read John 16:33
Jesus promises peace in Him, not an easy life.
How has your faith been tested through trials? What did you learn about Jesus in those moments?
START DOING:
If our mission is to multiply, how can your life reflect that this week?
* What’s one intentional step you can take toward your “one”?
* What obstacle do you need to push past?
* Who in your life can you invite into this mission with you?
Who will you impact for eternity because of the story Jesus is writing in your life?
START PRAYING:
Take a moment to pray for each person in the group:
* Pray for God to open our eyes to our “one.”
* Pray for boldness and perseverance when we face obstacles.
* Ask God to continue shaping us more like Jesus, so our lives point others to Him.
* Thank God for the mission He’s invited us into—and for the faith to move forward.
