START TALKING
Share about a time that you borrowed something of value from somebody and you were either stressed about having it in your possession or maybe you even lost or damaged it. What kind of stress did that cause you? Why?

START THINKING
Read Proverbs 22:7. In what ways have we all experienced these two big truths:

1. The rich rule over the poor.

2. Borrowers are slaves to lenders.

Use the link below and find out how "rich" you are compared to the rest of the world. What surprises you about where you stand on the global stage of wealth? If you gave 10% of your income, how wealthy would you still be with the resources you didn't give away?

How Rich Am I?
Take a moment to calculate how rich you are compared to the rest of the world. The answer will likely shock you!

START SHARING
How do you relate to these warnings for rich people? Give examples of how you have been blind to these.

1. Those with money are often blind to wisdom.
2. Those with money are often blind to surrender.
3. Those with money are often blind to others.

How do you relate to these warnings for poor people? Give examples of how you have been blind to these.

1. Those without money are often blind to its vanity.
2. Those with money are often blind to temptation.
3. Those with money are often blind to danger.

How have you experienced the reality that the borrower is slave to the lender? How can you see that this competes with allowing Jesus to be completely the Lord of your life? What are you learning about the connection between your relationship with God and your relationship with money?

START DOING
Do you have a plan to manage your money God's way? If yes, how do you make sure you continue with that? If not what can you do to continue with that?

Make a commitment to spend at least 20 minutes each week to complete the sessions in Money Wise. Each is a 10 minute video followed by questions to consider and steps to take to manage money God's way.

Money Wise Online Course
Give God's way a try and see how He challenges you, blesses you, and grows you!

START PRAYING

Pray for each other in the microchurch to trust God with their money and to allow Him to be the true Lord and provider. Pray that each of us remember He is the good, good Father who protects, provides, loves, and cares for each of us! Pray that this would be another part of our story that we can share with those who are far from God so that they will discover Jesus and how their one life can make a difference!

MULTIPLICATION

Share spiritual/missional conversations you've had where you live, work, and play:
  - Who did you have a conversation with that took a spiritual/missional turn this week?
  - What questions did you ask to discover where God is at work in their life, even if they are not aware?
  - How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
  - How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
  - Who in your life do you think could be disciple-able or open to spiritual/missional conversations?
