Read James 1:2-4.
- Why do you think James says, “consider it an opportunity.” What does he mean by that?
Read 1 Peter 1:4-6.
- Why does paul say we must suffer grief and all kinds of trials? How can joy and grief coexist?

Read Phillipeans 4:4.
- How can we rejoice in Jesus and not in external conditions?
How can choosing joy amidst hard situations impact those around you?
START DOING
- What current trials in your life do you feel God calling you to “count it all joy”?
- How will choosing joy this week change the way you pray? How might God use it to share your story?
- What are you going to do differently because you know you have an inheritance waiting for you in heaven?
START PRAYING
Take some time to share about the circumstances you're going through and pray that God fills each of you with His inexpressible joy!
Pray that we will remember that grief and trials are temporary but true Joy that comes from Jesus.

- How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
- How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
