Halloween On Mission!
Halloween is almost here - and guess what? We don’t want you to celebrate Halloween! What? That’s right - don’t celebrate it. Use it! Use that night as an opportunity to live on mission in your neighborhoods where you can get to know people, share your story, and develop relationships. You can do this individually, with your family & friends, or with your Micro Church. To get some creative ideas that will help you get started, visit onelifeknox.com/halloween.
OneLife’s Angel Tree
The Christmas season is approaching, and it’s the perfect time for us to give back to those less fortunate. This year OneLife is continuing our partnership with McNabb Center’s Angel Tree program as well as providing angel tree gifts for children on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. The Angel Trees will be up in the lobbies of each of our campuses starting November 7. So mark your calendars and let’s kick off the Christmas season with generosity this year!
OneLife Students - #FriendsGiveBack Local Missions Project
This year for Thanksgiving, instead of a “Friendsgiving” night, OneLife Students will be having a “Friendsgiveback” night. On November 17 from 6:30-8pm, students will be serving at West High School doing several service projects within their building. If you’re in middle or high school we can’t wait to see you there. And parents, you’re invited as well!
Jingle Jam, November 28 & December 5
Jingle Jam is a Christmas Party big enough for the whole family! It’s an interactive Christmas presentation for kids and parents that’s full of exciting music, fun characters, and a unique perspective of Christmas like you’ve never experienced! Join us at 6pm on November 28 at our North campus and on December 5 at our East campus for this exciting night. And be sure to invite another family to join you. We can’t wait to see you there!

SERMON NOTES & DISCUSSION
Bottom Line: I can't force peace, but I must fight for peace.
Romans 12:18 NIV
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
1. Peace will not always be possible.
John 15:18 NLT
If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.
Romans 12:18 NIV
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
2. Pursuing peace is my responsibility - nobody else's.
Hebrews 12:14-15 NLT
Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
Galatians 5:22-23 NLT
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Galatians 5:19-21 NLT
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
3. In the grand scheme of eternity and the Kingdom - is it worth it?
Romans 12:18 NIV
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
4. Pursuing peace is not because I want to be good, but because Jesus is good.
Colossians 1:19-20
For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
Be affectionate (Romans 12:10)
Be considerate and selfless (Romans 12:10)
Be prayerfully patient (Romans12:12)
Bless your persecutors (Romans 12:14)
Be humble (Romans 12:16)
Don't take revenge (Romans 12:19)
Defeat evil with good (Romans 12:19)

MULTIPLICATION
Share spiritual/missional conversations you've had where you live, work, and play:
Who did you have a conversation with that took a spiritual/missional turn this week?
What questions did you ask to discover where God is at work in their life, even if they are not aware?
How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
Who in your life do you think could be discipleable or open to spiritual/missional conversations?

WHAT'S NEXT?
